1. Introduction

Fusion Labs Limited ("we," "us," or "our") believes in being clear and open about how we collect and use data related to you. This Cookie Policy applies to any Budj product or service that links to this policy or incorporates it by reference, including the Budj Mobile App, the Merchant Dashboard, and our Website.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website or use an application. They allow us to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and improve your user experience.

In addition to standard cookies, we may use similar technologies such as:

  • Pixels/Tags: Small blocks of code on webpages that do things like allow another server to measure viewing of a webpage.
  • Mobile Device Identifiers: Unique identifiers associated with your mobile device (e.g., IDFA for iOS or AAID for Android) used to track app usage and performance.
  • Local Storage: Storing data directly in your browser or device to save preferences (like your "Keep me signed in" status).

3. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for several reasons:

A. Strictly Necessary (Essential)

These are required for the operation of our App and Website. They enable core functionality such as security, network management, and accessibility. You cannot opt out of these.

  • Auth Cookies (user_auth, merchant_auth, admin_auth): Used to maintain your secure session and keep you logged in.
  • Device ID (device_id): A unique identifier for your device used for security and fraud prevention.

B. Performance & Analytics

These allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how users move around our App and Website. This helps us improve the way our Services work.

C. Functionality

These are used to recognize you when you return to our Services and remember your preferences.

4. Third-Party Technologies

In some cases, we use third-party services that may set their own identifiers or utilize local storage:

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Uses service workers and local storage to deliver push notifications to your browser or device.
  • Sentry: Uses local identifiers to track errors and crashes to improve platform stability.
  • AWS S3: Used for secure storage of document keys and access.

We do not control these third-party technologies and recommend that you check the privacy policies of these third parties for more information.

5. Managing Your Cookies

Note: Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging into your Merchant Dashboard or using key features.
